Number 1 on our list of Best Live Music Venues in Sydney, and our personal favourite is The Newsagency. Having moved from it’s Marrickville venue, The Newsagency is now situated aobve Wayward Brewery and holds up to 100 people.

BYO food and drinks makes this a pretty special place where music is definitely the focus. Dimly lit with school chairs, couches and milk crates to take in the vibes, The Newsagency is dedicated to showcasing Australian independent musicians and is definitely worthy of a visit.
